Twelve target tracks across industries I’m built for (cards 01–08) and specialist disciplines I’ve practiced (cards 09–12). Senior leadership, Director, VP, and Manager seats above; senior IC and craft specialist tracks below — same site, full surface area. Cross-disciplinary, systems-level, hireable at multiple seniority levels.
Already inside this world at LSI — cleared-adjacent, fluent in PDM and configuration control, with cybersecurity formal training. 600+ CAD assets owned today across aerospace training programs.
BFA Transportation Design from CCS Detroit — the world’s top automotive ID program. The connected-vehicle era needs Product Development leaders fluent across hardware, software, and security in one seat.
Shaped Dell’s Alienware 2.0 Design Language across 12 products — 60% cost reduction, 3 awards. Consumer electronics and gaming hardware brands hire this profile back at senior Product Development level.
Direct experience: Lowe’s Kobalt program ($1M funding), Stanley Black & Decker, Iron Bridge Tools. As tools become connected/smart, R&D leaders need software and security fluency — not coordination across three teams.
This is the category where design + engineering + software + security is a single integrated R&D job. Have been writing publicly about service-centric electronics and cyber-risk in product design.
DecoLav ADA-compliance work gave me the regulated-design instinct. Medical devices need R&D leaders with ID + engineering + cybersecurity (FDA cyber guidance now mandatory). Few candidates qualify on all three.
Six years administering engineering systems inside a US DoD contractor — SOLIDWORKS PDM Pro, Jira, Bugzilla, infrastructure stability, user permissions, and workflow automation across 600+ production CAD assets. BS in IT Management & Cybersecurity. Wireshark certified, Cloud Computing certified, Kubernetes and CI/CD fluent.
Twelve years building custom software, web platforms, and e-commerce systems at Bryan Dynamics — PHP, C#, JavaScript, UI/UX. Currently writing automation scripts and process integrations at LSI to streamline software-engineering and product-development workflows. BS minor in Computer Science. HTML and PHP certified.
Five years as Drafter II at LSI — 600+ CAD models for aerospace training devices, 200+ engineering redlines resolved per ASME Y14.5-1994 and Y14.100-2000. SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional certified. Faro Arm 3D Scanner and Geomagic Design X for reverse engineering and dimensional validation.
Industrial Engineer at Load King — cut kiosk production from 3 months to 1 month via DFM-driven CAD practice and lean manufacturing. ISO 9001:2017 anchor. DFM execution at Iron Bridge Tools, Stanley Black & Decker, and Priority Designs. Manufacturing-focused product engineering across 18 years.
BFA Transportation Design from CCS Detroit — the world’s top automotive ID program. Senior Industrial Designer at six employers; Principal-level work at Dell on the Alienware 2.0 program. Vehicle and motorcycle design at Viper. CMF, ergonomic refinement, and brand direction across 20+ shipped product lines.
Twelve years as Chief Creative Officer at Bryan Dynamics. Director of Industrial Design at Heys Luggage — led rebrand from travel-goods to fashion, 25% market-share gain. Design Director at Winntech. Adjunct Faculty at Miami Ad School. Brand strategy and creative direction across multiple ventures and ROAR lifestyle.
Four engagements where I held the program-level seat. Scope, outcome, and what shipped — in dollars, percent, products, or assets under management.
Helped author the design language program across twelve Dell Alienware products. Defined geometry, surface vocabulary, lighting treatments, and modular tooling primitives that let one system span desktops, laptops, peripherals, and packaging. Sixty percent of program-level cost came out of modular tooling alone.
Senior designer and program lead on the Kobalt task-lighting line for Lowe’s. Concept through tooling release. Owned unit-cost allocation across surface, BOM, and packaging. Program secured $1M of Lowe’s funding and resulted in my first issued patent.
Led lean manufacturing initiative as Industrial Engineer, liaising between Engineering and Client Services for retail-store manufacturing quotations. Took 300% production-throughput increase through DFM-driven CAD archive practice, ISO 9001:2017 turnkey on SharePoint & Infor ERP, and 70% profit-margin improvement.
Lead enterprise engineering platform modernization across 600+ production CAD assets at a US DoD contractor. Administering SOLIDWORKS PDM Pro, Jira, and Bugzilla; executing the Bugzilla → Jira migration; integrating engineering systems across departments; and owning user permissions, access governance, and cybersecurity controls across cross-functional teams. Cleared-adjacent.
The methodology I run programs against — from constraint definition through production launch. Each phase has a deliverable and a downstream handoff. This is how engineering, software, and design teams receive my work.
Frame the constraint set first — business goals, manufacturing reality, regulatory needs, supply-chain bandwidth. The constraint document is written before any sketch.
Concept exploration through hand sketch and 3D ideation. Design language definition. Industrial design intent locked here before engineering picks up the document.
Translate design intent into manufacturable specification. Surface modeling, GD&T tolerances, DFM review with tooling partners. Downstream teams build directly from this output.
Software, firmware, and security integration where applicable. PDM workflow setup, BOM management, ECN process. Cross-functional alignment with engineering and supply chain.
Manufacturing partner handoff, tooling release, first-article inspection. Production ramp support. Post-launch lean cycles to drive cost and quality improvements.
